1960-1962: Faculty of International Relations

Department of Foreign Trade, which is in Faculty of International Relations of University of Economics and Finance under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was formally established in 1960. The first class of 1960-1966 intake and the third class of 1962-1967 intake were enrolled in the Faculty of International Relations.

On 20^th June, 1962, Prime Minister Pham Van Dong signed a Decree to separate the Faculty of International Relations from the University of Economics and Finance and establish the University of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, which is under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
